I take this to be a good sign? :)

You are the World

Completion, Good Reward.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you’ve been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you’ve done everything right.

Random Acts of kindness! Yay!

I usually pay for the order behind me at the drive-through. Somebody did that for me once and it made my day — so I do it all the time now. One time, the people I paid for flew up behind me on the highway, and they all waved and blew me kisses. I think I felt happier about that than they did!

Make a gift drop at your local hospital’s pediatric ward — I know when I worked in one we were always trying to scrounge money up for new toys.

Every year we adopt a family in need through our church, and we play what we call the “Christmas phantom.” Once a week, starting after Thanksgiving and going through the New Year, we make up baskets with goodies, poems and things we think the family might need, and leave it on their door step.

Pay for someone’s groceries in line behind you.

Pay for the person behind you in the toll lane. It’s so easy, and it makes anybody’s day.

You could buy somebody’s lunch or dinner at a restaurant — just somebody sitting near you!

Contact a nursing home near you to find out if one of the residents is without a family. Visit him or her, arrange a flower or gift basket delivery or arrange a special dinner for the holidays.

Help someone put their groceries in the car at the store, and take the cart back when they are done.

We usually buy a couple of toys for Toys for Tots while we are holiday shopping — we let the kids choose what to give, which gets them involved.

Well, here’s what I’m doing: There’s a couple here in my small town — they both have a developmental disability. The husband had a stroke, and the wife’s been caring for him since. They both live on pensions, and I see her all the time walking him downtown or taking him to the grocery store. I’m going to send her an anonymous gift card and just say inside that I noticed how much she was caring for her husband, and I thought she deserved a little TLC, too.

From iVillage ladies. I shall make my own list soon :)

The things they think of!

Maybe I should buy and wear on all twenty of my fingers and toes lest I forgot any b’days or impt dates…

Or mybe I’ll just buy a diary…grin…that’s a more practical idea…at least till they actually make and sell those rings!

Depeche Mode — Somebody

http://youtube.com/watch?v=it7q0TeCBE0

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details
Someone wholl stand by my side
And give me support
And in return
Shell get my support
She will listen to me
When I want to speak
About the world we live in
And life in general
Though my views may be wrong
They may even be perverted
Shell hear me out
And wont easily be converted
To my way of thinking
In fact shell often disagree
But at the end of it all
She will understand me
Aaaahhhhh….

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought and
With every breath
Someone wholl help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I dont want to be tied
To anyones strings
Im carefully trying to steer clear of
Those things
But when Im asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
Ill get away with it
Aaaahhhhh….
